We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operations Officer to join our dedicated team. This is a pivotal role that ensures the smooth, accurate, and compliant processing of all client and trading activities, acting as a crucial link between our Trade Desk, clients, and external counterparties.
Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Specialist, your role will involve managing essential day-to-day operations.
Primary Non-Exhaustive Duties:

Verifying executed investment transactions such as equity, bonds, funds and FX on behalf of clients in the Back Office system

Uploading of bank statements in the Back Office system and posting of payment transactions onto the clients’ accounts

Executing client payment instructions on the Bank’s online portal

Daily processing of corporate actions in a timely manner

Reconciliations of client accounts (cash and holdings) and bank accounts

Actively contribute with the implementation and controls for daily processes and keeping standard operating procedures up to date

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of Operations to ensure the smooth running of the Operations department
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge and attributes:
Experience:

Previous professional experience working in an Operations department within the financial services industry (e.g., bank, custodian, brokerage firm).

Maltese-speaking.
Skills & Attitude:

A proactive "can-do" attitude and a commitment to problem-solving.

Strong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload effectively.
