Job Overview
The IT Applications Support Administrator provides day-to-day support to internal users, ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s back-office/wealth management system, CRM, accounting tools, and other business applications. The role includes user support, data extraction for reporting, basic system configuration, website content updates, and coordination with the external IT service providers and information security officer.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, well-organised, and able to support operational needs in a regulated investment services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- User & System Support: Primary contact for software application queries, troubleshoot issues, liaise with vendors, assist with updates/testing, provide training to users.
- Applications Admin: Maintain wealth management system, SQL reporting, CRM, accounting, AML systems, manage configurations and user permissions.
- Data & Reporting: Extract and analyse data for management reports, operational dashboards, ensure accuracy, consistency and documentation of data flows.?
- Website/Content: Routine updates, coordinate with external developers for more complex technical changes.
- IT Liaison: Coordinate with external IT providers, track tickets and assist with general technical procedures.?
- Cybersecurity: Assist the information security officer on security tasks, training efforts, incident response, and implementation of best practices.
- Operational: Document procedures and processes, user guides and internal workflows, support internal projects and system automation and enhancements.?
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in IT support, application support, or systems administration.
- Understanding of data extraction, reporting tools, and SQL database concepts.
- Experience with back-office systems, CRMs, or accounting software (Xero preferred).
- Familiarity with financial services or a regulated environment (investment services experience is an advantage).
